Nashville SC release
Not much to break down here. The only players currently occupying international slots are Randall Leal, Ake Loba, and Rodrigo Piñeiro, with Leal’s green card only a matter of waiting out bureaucracy, and Piñeiro expected to spend the year away on loan.
Of their initial eight international slots, that leaves as few as one of them necessary come the Roster Compliance Deadline. NSC has sold four thus far (one to Dallas and two to Charlotte in addition to this one), and is expected to finalize a deal to ship one to NYCFC… eventually?
Meanwhile, the going rate for international slots remains $250k in General Allocation Money, a bar NSC General Manager Mike Jacobs established during the half-day trade window in December.
