Nashville SC keeps it in The Commonwealth for its second selection in the 2021 MLS SuperDraft: James Madison defender Tom Judge is Mike Jacobs’s pick with the No. 36 overall selection.

Judge has played three years in Harrisonburg – his senior season is on hold with the majority of the college soccer world waiting until Spring on account of the coronavirus pandemic – earning third-team All-CAA honors as a sophomore and a first-team honor during his junior year. He is a College Soccer News preseason third-team All-American as we await the beginning of the 2020-21 season for JMU.
The native of Freehold, N.J. plays as both a centerback and left back for the Dukes, and projects to either spot as he makes the transition to the professional level. In his three years, he has scored three goals and recorded four assists. A physical defender, he led his team with seven yellow cards as a junior.
Nashville SC selected Virginia midfielder/winger Irakoze Donasiano with the No. 20 overall pick, and has Nos. 73, 74, and 86 overall outstanding in the 2021 SuperDraft. The majority of the selected players are expected to start their professional careers on loan or as primarily practice-squad members during Year One.
