Welcome to Boys in Not Gold. Wonder what Nashville SC’s players on loan are up to? Here’s your regular recap of the dudes wearing somebody else’s colors (temporarily).
Tanner Dieterich
On loan with Chattanooga Red Wolves SC in USL League One
Dieterich started and went the distance (99 minutes) in Chattanooga Red Wolves’ 3-1 loss to North Texas SC this afternoon. Playing as a box-to-box midfielder, he completed 18/25 passes, and won 2/8 duels (1/4 aerial). He made one tackle and one interception, and also committed one foul. It’s worth noting that all three NTSC goals came from set pieces (two free kicks and a penalty), and Dieterich was not responsible for conceding any of them.
Chattanooga has slumped to 5-5-3, and will likely need to win the final three regular-season games to make the two-team playoff.

Luke Haakenson
On loan with Charlotte Independence in the USL Championship
Haakenson started and played 79 minutes as a left wing forward in Charlotte’s 3-4-3 formation during a 1-0 win over North Carolina FC before being subbed off in the 73rd minute. He received a yellow card in first-half stoppage time (on his only foul of the evening). He completed 14/19 passes, and 0/1 crosses. Haakenson won 2/6 duels (1/2 aerial) took two shots (both off-target), and was caught offside once. He made one clearance defensively.
Charlotte finished first in group G with 28 points in 16 games.

Cameron Lancaster
On loan with Louisville City FC in the USL Championship.
Lancaster started and scored a 40th-minute goal – ultimately the game winner in a 2-1 Louisville City win over Sporting Kansas City II – before being subbed off in the 87th minute after playing a full 90. In addition to the goal, he had three other shots on target, and one that was blocked. Lancaster completed 13/19 passes, won 2/8 duels (1/5 aerial), was fouled once and committed two fouls himself.
Louisville finished first in Group E with 35 points in 16 games.

Brady Scott
On loan with Sacramento Republic in USL Championship.
Scott started and went the distance (101 minutes) in Sacramento’s 1-0 loss to Tacoma Defiance Wednesday evening. He made one save and allowed the single goal. He also completed 17/28 passes, with all the incomplete attempts (and most of the completions) long hits out of the back. He didn’t have much of a chance on the goal, which included two free runners onto a cross (with the first putting it back across to the corner):
He was an unused substitute in Saturday’s 4-0 win over Portland Timbers II.
Sacramento finished second in Group A with 30 points in 16 games.
