All transactions are listed below.
Nashville SC receives:
- $200,000 in GAM from St. Louis CITY SC
- $175,000 in GAM and a natural second-round pick in the 2023 MLS SuperDraft, presented by adidas, from Chicago Fire FC
- $175,000 in GAM from FC Dallas, and

The trades occurred during the MLS Trade Window in which, following a three-month roster freeze, MLS clubs may begin making adjustments to their rosters and conduct trades with other MLS teams.
Nashville SC release
The prices on the slots are a significant decrease from what they’d been bumped up to over the past year-plus, but with more teams in the league (and thus more total roster slots) and clubs focused on turning around green cards quickly (less need for said slots), it was only a matter of time before a bubble burst.
Nashville SC currently only has one player, striker Aké Loba, who requires an international slot, so don’t be surprised if general manager Mike Jacobs unloads more (and NSC will of course leave its options open for more additional signings in the international market in the meantime).
See my back-of-envelope math to guess how much total allocation money Nashville has available.
