Defender Robert Castellanos
On loan with Tampa Bay Rowdies in USL Championship
Castellanos made his return to the field after a broken ankle early this season with the Rowdies (and a return to Nashville to rehab it). He was subbed on in the 72nd minute of Tampa Bay’s 1-0 loss to Louisville City FC, playing until the final whistle. He completed 13/17 passes, all but two of them short. He won 0/1 duels, and made one clearance and one interception.
Since he did not make a matchday squad while back in Nashville (and was therefore not technically recalled from his loan), he can still come back to Nashville and play this season if NSC management so desires.
Season totals: Castellanos has played 31 minutes across two games, completing 20/24 passes, going 0/1 on duels, with two clearances and one interception.

Midfielder Irakoze Donasiyano
On loan with Phoenix Rising FC in USL Championship
Donasiyano started as the most advance midfielder in a 4-3-3 and made it into the fourth minute of second-half stoppage time before being shown a red card for violent conduct in a 0-0 draw against Oakland Roots. He completed 27/31 won an insane 13/22 duels, 3/4 aerial. He took two shots, one off-target and one blocked. He made six tackles, blocked one shot, and made two interceptions. He won three fouls and was fouled twice. For what it’s worth, the red card was a horrifically bad call (unless there’s something that wasn’t caught in the many replays, but this seems unlikely), but at least USL is hyper-focused on the important things like making the names of its divisions embarrassing.
He sat the subsequent game, a 4-0 win over Colorado Springs Switchbacks, serving his red-card suspension.
Donasiyano began the subsequent game on the bench, but entered in the 70th minute as Rising saw out a 0-0 draw against Las Vegas Lights. He completed 15/17 passes, including two key passes. He won his only duel and made one tackle.
Donasiyano started and played 87 minutes as a right wing in a 4-3-3 in Rising’s 2-1 loss to Orange County SC. He completed 30/36 passes and completed 5/9 duels (1/2 aerial). He made two tackles and two interceptions, and was fouled twice while committing one foul.
Season totals: Donasiyano has played 668 minutes for Phoenix Rising. He has completed 128/262 passes (two key passes), won 59/96 duels (7/14 aerial), made 29 tackles and 13 interceptions, and drawn 17 fouls while committing eight. He has nine shots, all off-frame (including one blocked). He has also blocked three shots.

Defender Ahmed Longmire
On loan with Orange County SC in USL Championship
Longmire was an unused substitute in Orange County’s 3-2 loss to San Diego Loyal (his third game unused by coach’s decision after a violent-conduct suspension).
He returned to the pitch as an 83rd-minute substitute in a 3-3 draw against Colorado Springs Switchbacks. His team was leading 3-2 when he came on, though the tying goal was a penalty for which he had no responsibility, so his plus-minus would be unfairly dinged if that were a thing. His only pass was an unsuccessful long switch, and he lost an aerial duel.
He entered at an 87th-minute substitute in a 2-1 win over Phoenix Rising FC. He completed both of his passes in the brief appearance.
He was an unused sub in last night’s 1-1 draw against Las Vegas Lights.
Season totals: Longmire has played 126 minutes for Orange County SC, mostly playing RCB in a back five. He has completed 81/102 passes, won 7/17 duels (3/8 aerial), made three tackles, 11 clearances, and three interceptions. He has committed two fouls, and was red-carded for violent conduct with an additional suspension that saw him miss two total games after his sending-off.

Goalkeeper Bryan Meredith
On loan with Indy Eleven in USL Championship
Meredith remained out with injury suffered against San Diego Loyal, missing a 3-1 loss to Tampa Bay Rowdies, a 2-0 loss to Pittsburgh Riverhounds, and a 2-1 loss to Hartford Athletic.
Season totals: Meredith has made three appearances, going 112 minutes. He has made five saves and allowing eight goals, with a 1-2 record between the pipes. He has completed 43/65 passes and made three clearances.
Winger Rodrigo Piñeiro
On loan with Unión Española in Chile which Nashville SC has not announced or acknowledged for reasons that are unclear
Piñeiro started and went 83 minutes, bagging a brace in a 5-2 win over Huachipato in league play. The first was a beautiful curler on the break, and the second (at 1:50) was a rebound blasted bar-down:
He started and went the distance in a 1-1 draw against Universidad de Chile. He started and got 87 minutes in a 2-1 win over Ñublense (assisting his team’s opening goal with a flick-on from a corner), both in league play as well.
In Copa Chile, he scored the second goal in his team’s 3-1 win over O’Higgins in the first leg of a series that will be wrapped up this weekend. The current scoreline gives Unión a leg up in making the quarterfinal round.
Season totals: Piñeiro has six league goals and an assist in 16 appearances for Unión Española, and one goal in two Copa Sudamericana appearances. He scored a goal in a two-legged Copa Chile matchup in which he played 129 total minutes (as his team cruised to a 6-0 aggregate), and another in the first leg of a series yet to be completed. He was the Primera Liga Player of the Month for April.
