Midfielder Aníbal Godoy
On international duty with Panama
Panama’s friendly against Canada was canceled as the Canuck Men’s and Women’s NT Players’ Associations (briefly) went on strike.
Godoy captained his team and played 90 in a 5-0 Concacaf Nations League win for Los Canaleros against Martinique. He completed each and every one of his 46 passes(!), and probably should have been credited with a goal for a play that went down as an OG for Martinique:
(If the shot is on target – even if it’s not going to score without the deflection – it’s supposed to be credited as a goal by most data providers).
Godoy was out of the lineup for a 5-0 friendly loss to Uruguay, then returned for the rematch against Martinique, which went down as a 0-0 draw (shoulda saved some of the goals for the second game, imo). He completed 114 of 116(!!) passes, forced a save with his only shot, and committed one foul.
Defender Walker Zimmerman
On international duty with the United States
The US managed Zimmerman’s minutes over the course of the window, so after a 90-minute outing against Uruguay in a friendly, he played just 45 in the 5-0 trouncing of Grenada, and was not in the squad after a foot injury for the 1-1 draw in El Salvador. Full friendly stats are not available, but against Grenada, he entered as a halftime sub and completed 15/16 passes.
Midfielder Irakoze Donasiyano
On loan with Phoenix Rising FC in USL Championship
Donasiyano made his Phoenix Rising debut as a 75th-minute sub in a 1-0 loss to Birmingham Legion (he entered the contest with his team already down by what would ultimately be the final score). He completed all 10 of his passes, won 1/2 duels, took one shot (off-target), and made one successful tackle.
Donasiyano started and played 80 minutes in Phoenix’s 1-0 loss to El Paso Locomotive. Phoenix plays a 4-3-3, and Donasiyano was employed as the right-sided attacking midfielder – though his usage was fairly conservative and defense-first. El Paso’s lone goal was a penalty (that came with a red card for CB Manuel Madrid, to boot), so it’s hard to blame Donasiyano for any defensive issues. He completed 17/23 passes, all of them short, and won 7/11 duels (0/1 aerial). He made two tackles and one interception, and drew four fouls.
Season totals: Donasiyano has played 95 minutes for Phoenix Rising. He has completed 27/33 passes, won 8/12 duels (0/1 aerial), made three tackles and one interception, and drawn four fouls. His lone shot was off-frame.

Goalkeeper Bryan Meredith
On loan with Indy Eleven in USL Championship
Meredith started and went the distance in a 4-3 win over Charleston Battery in his Indy Eleven debut. He made three saves while allowing the three goals, and had three clearances. He also completed 15/28 passes with Indy mostly playing long. Their backline remains brutally bad (though to be fair, the first goal may have been a yard-plus offside, and the second was all on Meredith, albeit with his team nursing a three-goal lead int he 89th minute).
Meredith was an unused sub in Indy’s 1-1 draw against The Miami FC.
Season totals: In three games, Meredith has made one appearance, making three saves and allowing three goals, with a 1-0 record between the pipes. He has completed 15/28 passes and made three clearances.

Winger Rodrigo Piñeiro
On loan with Unión Española in Chile which Nashville SC has not announced or acknowledged for reasons that are unclear
Unión Española was off for the entirety of the international break.
Season totals: Piñeiro has four league goals in 10 appearances for Unión Española, and one goal in two Copa Sudamericana appearances. He was the Primera Liga Player of the Month for April.
