Nashville SC release
The game had previously been scheduled for Sunday at noon, so about 18 hours later. I would imagine MLS TV considerations – Montreal has been a much better team than expected in preseason, and Nashville maybe slightly better than expectations – played a role here. So too did Nashville TV considerations: the Titans are playing at Nissan Stadium during the originally-scheduled time, and with NSC finding success, a timeslot where they aren’t competing against the ratings behemoth of the NFL is preferred. Lastly, who knows how venue availability is being impacted by the Canadian clubs’ upcoming returns to their home country, as well.
All that said: just don’t forget to update your calendars.
