It doesn’t always have to be pretty – and that’s particularly true when fans can’t watch – but Nashville SC earned an early goal from an unsigned trialist, and managed to hang on for a 1-0 win in its only preseason match in Bradenton, Fla.
The Boys in Gold saw their previous two games – and the one scheduled for this weekend – canceled, and will head back to Music City from Central Florida with just this win under their belt.
With a number of starters sidelined with injury or rest, second-year keeper Elliot Panicco went the distance between the pipes, while a number of otherwise lesser-used players managed to get some significant playing time.
