It may feel at times like we live in a post-pandemic society (it probably shouldn’t! but sometimes it does!), but every once in a while, there’s a rude reminder that this isn’t the case.

BRADENTON, Fla. (March 24, 2021) – Nashville Soccer Club in partnership with the Professional Referee Organization and the New York Red Bulls announced today that their preseason match scheduled to take place at 3 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. CT at IMG Academy has been cancelled. The match was cancelled out of an abundance of caution due to a match official returning a positive COVID-19 test.
Nashville SC
Hopefully that match official remains asymptomatic, and there is no community spread in Bradenton. Nashville is training at the IMG Academy site, and will next take the field Saturday after a short road trip to Fort Lauderdale. The Boys in Gold and NYCFC will square off at noon CDT from Al Lang Stadium.
