Welcome to Boys in Not Gold, with the latest on Nashville SC players out on loan (or still plying their trade in the NCAA ranks).

Defender Miguel Nazarit

On loan to Independiente Santa Fe in Colombia

Nazarit saw his first league action for Independiente Santa Fe, starting at CB in a 2-2 draw against Pasto yesterday afternoon. The draw prevented Santa Fe from climbing to the top of the table.

Defender Irakoze Donasiyano

With University of Virginia for the spring NCAA season.

Virginia knocked off Notre Dame 1-0 with a ridiculous bouncing free-kick for the overtime golden goal. Donasiyano played as a left back, and largely shut down talented Notre Dame winger Jack Lynn (whose presence was presumably the reason Koze played out of his natural right-sided position). He cleared two Irish shots off the line, or his team may not have even reached OT. Donasiyano also had a few opportunities to cut inside up the pitch, but was not directly involved in any offense.

Forward Leroy Enzugusi

With Drake University for the spring NCAA season.

Drake fell 1-0 to Missouri State. The Bulldogs likely got a bad beat: Enzugusi had three shots with two on goal, including one that drew a fingertip save from the MSU keeper in the 89th minute.

Defender Sondre Norheim

With Syracuse University through the spring NCAA season.

Syracuse lost to Clemson 3-1. Many of the Tigers’ best offensive chances came on counter-attacking plays, but Norheim – playing in the center and then on the right in a back-three – had a tough time reacting to some of that speed, too. His only statistical output was a pair of fouls committed.

Goalkeeper Tor Saunders

With Coastal Carolina University through the spring NCAA season.

Saunders missed Coastal Carolina’s 2-1 win over College of Charleston due to injury. He is expected to return to the lineup soon.
