Welcome to Boys in Not Gold, with the latest on Nashville SC players out on loan (or still plying their trade in the NCAA ranks).

Winger David Accam

On loan to Hammarby IF in Sweden

Although Hammarby’s regular season doesn’t start until mid-April, Accam has arrived in Sweden for his loan:

Defender Miguel Nazarit

On loan to Independiente Santa Fe in Colombia

Independiente Santa Fe is 2-0-3 in their past five games, climbing to third place in the CategorΓa Primera A table. Nazarit has yet to see competitive action on loan.

Defender Irakoze Donasiyano

With University of Virginia for the spring NCAA season.

UVa lost 1-0 to Virginia Tech in a tune-up friendly. Donasiyano was not directly involved in the scoring play (he was tracking back, and a teammate gave up a penalty). He played right back and went the distance.

Yesterday, the Hoos took down George Mason (this will be a theme for future NSC players!) 3-0 in Charlottesville. Donasiyano played all 90 minutes, though he was not involved in any of the team’s three goals. UVa played in a three-back, a different system from the opener.

Both of these games streamed on ESPN+, so I’ll have a little more breakdown of them later.

Up next: UVa v. Notre Dame β€’ Noon CST Sunday (ESPN+)

Forward Leroy Enzugusi

With Drake University for the spring NCAA season.

Drake played a scoreless draw against Loyola-Chicago. Playing striker in a 3-5-2, Enzugusi notched his team’s only shot on goal (and one of just three shots total). He also picked up a yellow card in the 74th minute.

Up next: Drake v. Missouri State (Matt Pickens U!) β€’ 2 p.m. CST Thursday

Defender Tom Judge

With James Madison University for the spring NCAA season.

JMU beat George Mason 3-0 on the road in Farifax, Va. over the weekend. Judge started and played left back until the game was well in-hand. He had a hockey assist on the Dukes’ second goal. I was in the house:

…and it was also on ESPN+, so I’ll have a detailed game breakdown in the coming days, including some insight you could only get by being in the house.

Up next: JMU v. Elon β€’ March 21

Defender Sondre Norheim

With Syracuse University through the spring NCAA season.

Syracuse lost to Bowling Green 2-1 at a neutral site in Buffalo. Norheim only made the scoresheet by committing one foul.

Up next: Syracuse @ Clemson β€’ 4 p.m. CST Sunday

Goalkeeper Tor Saunders

With Coastal Carolina University through the spring NCAA season.

Coastal Carolina lost 2-0 to Virginia in the first game of the spring season. Saunders allowed both goals and made one save in the contest. It’s worth noting that CCU dominated the run of play, but the Hokies scored on two of their only five shots.

Up next: Coastal Carolina v. College of Charleston β€’ Noon Sunday (ESPN+)
