Welcome to Boys in Not Gold. Wonder what Nashville SC’s players on loan are up to? Here’s your regular recap of the dudes wearing somebody else’s colors (temporarily). It’s early this week because that’s most convenient with NSC’s schedule and most of the USL Championship is completed.
The players who have been on loan in USL are returning to training with Nashville, but for the time being, are not expected to join the active roster and be available for game-selection.
On loan with Chattanooga Red Wolves SC in USL League One
Dieterich started and went the distance – 97 minutes – in Chattanooga’s 1-1 draw against Forward Madison FC. Playing as a box-to-box central midfielder in a 4-3-3, he completed 22/26 passes, but was 0/5 in duels (0/2 aerial). He took two shots (both off-target), and made one clearance and one interception defensively.
The Red Wolves are 5-5-4, and their recent slump has dropped them into sixth (and kept them there the past couple weeks). With just two regular-season games remaining, they have been eliminated from playoff contention.

On loan with Louisville City FC in the USL Championship.
It will stun you to learn that Lancaster scored and Louisville City FC advanced in the USL Championship playoffs. He started and scored in the 18th minute, and that ultimately proved to be the game-winner.
Before being subbed out in the 74th minute (79 minutes played), he completed 14/17 passes, won 3/12 duels (1/6 aerial), took two additional shots – one on- and one off-target – committed two fouls, and was fouled twice.
