Welcome to Boys in Not Gold. Wonder what Nashville SC’s players on loan (or on national team duty) are up to? Here’s your regular recap.
Cameron Lancaster
On loan with Louisville City FC in the USL Championship.
With Luke Haakenson’s Charlotte Independence still not hitting the pitch over the weekend, the only Nashville SC loanee to play over the weekend was striker Cameron Lancaster with Louisville City FC.
Lancaster went the distance in LCFC’s 1-0 loss to St. Louis FC. He took eight shots, two of which found the woodwork:
He was credited with two shots on goal (one of them was the right-post shot above, with STLFC keeper Kyle Morton’s fingertips pushing it just wide), two more off-target, and two that were blocked before they had the chance to find frame.
He also completed 8/13 passes, won 5/12 duels, made two tackles, and earned one foul – though it was in his own defensive end.

Charlotte Independence and Haakenson will make their post-pandemic (uh, mid-pandemic? This is all so dumb) debut Saturday, traveling to Memphis to take on 901 FC.
