One future NSC player participated in his final game before heading to Music City. Another was added to the 2020 roster just this week (though his season ended in October). Here are the updates from abroad.

Miguel Nazarit – finished season with Once Caldas in October

Nazarit struggled with injuries during his third season in Manizales, and managed just 959 minutes for Once Caldas across all competitions. He started 10 games and made three additional substitute appearances, and was an unused substitute on the bench 18 times. He recorded two yellow cards on the year.

Once Caldas finished 10th in the league in both the Apertura and Clausura in 2019 (unlike Central American Leagues, the Apertura and Clausura happen in the same calendar year in Colombia), and failed to make the semifinal in either season. Los Albos fell in the Copa Colombia’s quarterfinals by a 4-2 aggregate score against Independiente Medellín.

Hany Mukhtar – with Brøndby IF until January transfer window

Mukhtar returned from the injury that saw him miss the previous game and a half, featuring on Brøndby’s bench. He entered in the 58th minute of his team’s eventual 1-1 draw against Hobro, but was unable to help his team find a winner.

Up next: Brøndby’s fall season has come to an end, with a two-month winter break before the Danes take the pitch again. Mukhtar’s next action will come with NSC. Brøndby IF stands fourth in the Danish Superligaen as the winter break arrives.
