The GIFening: Memphis 901 FC 0-2 Nashville SC

Welcome to the GIFening, wherein I present the story of the game in animated pictures. If you haven’t yet, make sure you vote in the community ratings from the Memphis game. Poll will close and results publish tomorrow morning.

akinyodetacklerioschance
Nice Akinyode dribble and some forward thinking(!) start this attack. Doesn’t look like Ríos mishit it, just didn’t have a perfect idea of where the goal was.
akinyodetacklewinnchance
This was more dangerous than it felt live.
belmarouch
This is dirty as hell, has no place in the game, and Belmar was the only player punished on the play (for getting in Charpie’s face).
belmarshirt
“Mo-om, Wes ripped my new shirt!”
doylefouledyellow
Is Ewan Grandison the densest player in USL? He doesn’t move an inch and Doyle goes flying.
happy ockford
Yay!
kimuraouch
No intent here, but it’s the landing on Kimura’s head that hurt him.
lebocrossbar
Very close. And to be honest, this play is an example of why Moloto is somewhere between a true No. 10 (that through ball to Winn early in the play would have been money) and a forward.
ockfordgoal
I’m of the opinion that goals are good.
ockfordyellow
Jimmy Ockford’s first Gold card.
offsidegoal
You can see Najem pretty clearly offside at the beginning of the clip. Not sure why the official didn’t blow it dead.
pickenssave
Quite the save.
pizzarolls
“STRANGER THINGS SEASON 3 IS OUT, BABAAAAAAAAY!”
riosgol
The ball just comes off his foot differently than most USL players. He doesn’t even swing all the way through this one and it’s a rocket.
roughplay
Clean!
TOandquickO
Quick thinking for the counter, Winn just went for the early cross and had it blocked. Might have been wise to take one more touch, because he was dusting that CB.
upinsmoke
TFW ur dream is lit ablaze
vermeerfoul
Vermeer wasn’t cautioned for this. Oy.
winnwheels
Meep meep.
winnwhoop
These are fun dribbles, IMO.
