Nashville SC fans looking to listen to their home team’s games on local radio are now in luck: The Game 2 (94.9 FM in Nashville) will be the exclusive broadcast partner for the club. Nashville SC Cheif Executive Officer Court Jeske made the announcement on 94.9’s sister station, The Game Nashville (102.5 FM), on the Morning Drive show.
Club GM Christopher Jones is excited about the potential of the relationship.
“Expanding the Nashville SC footprint to as many soccer fans as possible has been one of our highest priorities from day one,” said Jones. “This radio deal with ESPN The Game gives our fans another platform that is committed to covering all Nashville sports through its excellent live programming.”
The broadcasts will include pre- and post-game shows, and at least 20 of the remaining 27 contests will be featured. 96.7 FM, El Jefe radio, has been the club’s Spanish-language partner.
Nashville SC next takes the field Sunday evening, with a 5:00 p.m. game at First Tennessee Park against Louisville City FC. The two teams played in the season opener, with Louisville taking a 2-0 result in their home stadium.
