Welcome to Boys in Not Gold. Wonder what Nashville SC’s players on loan (or on national team duty) are up to? Here’s your regular recap.
Cameron Lancaster
On loan with Louisville City FC in the USL Championship.
Louisville fell to 2-3-0 on the season while allowing Sporting Kansas City II to improve to the same record (after the split two games in four days) with a 2-1 SKCII victory in Louisville.
Our player of note provided the bright moment for the hosts, at least. His perfectly-curled free kick left the keeper hopeless. If you can get it over the wall as he does, it’s a bucket:
He played 70 total minutes, and could hardly be blamed for any of his team’s other struggles. He completed 8/11 passes, won 5/9 duels (2/3 aerial), took five shots, four of them on-target (including one that should have been a tap-in rebound for teammate Napo Matsoso, if not for an incredible save), and won three fouls while conceding just one.

Luke Haakenson
On loan with Charlotte Independence in the USL Championship
The Independence had the weekend off, but will make up for it with two games this week. Charlotte travels to Birmingham Wednesday and hosts Charleston Saturday.
