The rivalry between Nashville SC and Chattanooga FC may be primarily supporter-oriented for the time being (Chattanooga fans: “you are sellouts!” Nashville fans: “you are not going to MLS!”), but in March, it will extend to the field. CFC announced today that the Boys in Gold will head to Scenic City to take the field March 10:
Chattanooga plays in the Southeast Division of the South Conference in the NPSL, finishing third during the 2017 season (behind New Orleans Jesters and Knoxville Force). They had a good offense and one of the stingiest defenses (.583 GAA) in the entire NPSL last season. NSC left/center back Jordan Dunstan played for the team last year, so there’s certainly some familiarity on his end.
